Flex-Tec Wood Repair Epoxy Gives New Life to Old Wood Repair, don't replace, defective wood in and around doors, windows, windowsills, wood gutters, columns, and more with a remarkable new product: Flex-Tec epoxy. This material expands and contracts as wood does, and can be used for interior and exterior applications. First, remove all defective wood and brush on Primatrate, a two-part epoxy primer. Then mix and apply the two-part wood filler, which comes pre-measured in a single or double caulking tube. The material is gel-like when wet, will not sag when applied, and can be shaped as needed. After it cures, it can be cut, sanded, planed, and painted.
